WELCOME TO MY BLOG

Hi there.  My name is Phil (with ONE l, not 2). The picture is my wife Vicky, not me.

Thanks for joining me on an adventure. Here's a little background.

In June 2017 Vicky and I bought a 36 foot Monaco La Palma Motor Home (RV) and over the next few months made a few trips.

In November we sold our home, our rental apartment and many of our possessions and moved into the RV permanently.  We're both close to 70 and our two cats are up there in age too.  Quill, our Abyssinian, is 17 and Cosette our grey tabby (moggy) is at least a year older than that.  They're both well traveled, having moved from New Zealand to the USA with us back in 2011.  They took to the RV with no problem, especially as, for the first 5 months, ti didn't move.

On May 1, 2018 we moved out of the RV Park in El Mirage AZ where we'd spent the winter, and hit the road as full time RV'ers.  This blog will allow you to share our adventures.

The first chapter - Starting Out, follows our trip from El Mirage AZ to our new home address in Sioux Falls, SD.
